me.dium: Deja Vu?

I read about me.dium on scoble's blog. While it seems well-presented, and the name is decidedly del.icio.us, I have to say that this feels like something that's been done.

Between the Alexas and the Stumbleupon and the countless other models, it seems like we've tried, repeatedly, to find ways to share the web-surfing experience, to make it communal, and the web-surfing audience of the world has repeatedly said, "No."

Am I wrong? Is me.dium different, or do some of you believe that we've been waiting for the right tool along to make this web experience something we can share?
